This was a very speculative opportunity to break into this household name and get MOI’s foot in the red rhombus.
On a very tight deadline, the planning was turned around very quickly followed by my own contribution in 1 day. We won the account with Vodafone complementing us on the originality of the solutions, not seen by the other agencies involved.
This was another pitch win which unusually resulted in the client going for the most radical idea. My SMP of ‘Keep your enemies closer’ let me the #hugahacker campaign that was a huge global success, running across display media, printed and video deliverables.
This campaign marked the beginning of Sage’s global rebrand. My ideation of ‘Escape your spreadsheet nightmare’ won the pitch which was rolled out globally, fully achieving Sage’s ambitious nurturing targets for their small business accounting software.
